The Big Lamington – Part 2 - Lamington Native Nursery

Update 3 – September 2019

…and we’re done with the outside construction.

The ‘box’ is complete and now all we have to do is make it into the attraction it was destined to be.

Things are moving quickly now as the drought has stopped us doing most jobs around the Nursery.

So now we are attaching the pre-built pieces to the IBC frame and completing cladding the sides and top.

With the bushfires out of the way construction could continue.

…and soon there were two pieces!

By August the IBC had placed in position and was ready for the next step.

This required a little planning and a little pre-construction so progress was slow but continued.

So pre-construction began in late July, had to be put on hold because of some pesky bushfires,

So everyone might be wondering what this page is for.

Well a while ago we had an idea to create something that would attract customers and put Lamington Native Nursery on the map.

The idea took shape in Dave’s head and before too long a rough plan was devised to create this new object.

It started with an IBC placed at the Nursery back in April.
