When you visit Lamington Native Nursery you will notice that we are surrounded by bushland and forest.

Our region is known for it’s open grassland forest and dry rainforest areas.

Part of our ‘job’ here at Lamington Native Nursery is the restoration of that bushland, the removal of lantana and other exotic weeds.

The picture above shows what our forest looks, and should look like. This is an area we have cleared of exotics already and is looking good (despite the drought)

But you will see other areas around the Nursery that are not as ‘clean’ and these area our next targets.

The Nursery allows us to support and fund our bush regeneration and weed eradication programmes.

There are 50 acres of Bush to clear, so we have more work ahead.
