When it comes to Australian native plants there are not many that beat the Red Callistemons.
Those favourite Aussie plants called bottle brushes.
We have three red bottle brushes for sale at the moment – Callistemon – ‘Kings Park Special’ and Callistemon – ‘Mary MacKillop’ and Callistemon – ‘Hannah Ray’
Lots of red flowers and a weeping habit make the ‘Kings Park Special’ and the ‘Mary MacKIllop’ very attractive plants.
‘Hannah Ray’ is a relative of the weeping/creek bottle brush and has a stunning weeping habit and huge red flowers. We have three of these in the ground at home.
All three of these trees will bring birds, animals and bees to your yard looking for the sweet nectar from the flowers. Remember,.. the best thing you can do for your local wildlife is plant a native tree!
