Three weeks under threat of fire – 19 September 2019
Almost three weeks ago we were heading into town to get some water when we met this scene at the bottom of the mountain.
This was the start of almost three weeks of bushfires and stress.

One year ago today… this is what the “nursery” looked like…
We still had a way to go….
Seems our local residents are really suffering during the drought and they will eat just about anything…. including Callistemon – Mary MacKIllop’s.
When it comes to Australian native plants there are not many that beat the Red Callistemons.
Those favourite Aussie plants called bottle brushes.
When you visit Lamington Native Nursery you will notice that we are surrounded by bushland and forest.
Our region is known for it’s open grassland forest and dry rainforest areas.
